ACORDA Scientific Excellence Award (ASEA):
The Acorda Scientific Excellence Award (ASEA) was created to reward students in our area who are doing exciting and innovative research in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Students conducting original research in Westchester, Putnam or Fairfield counties are eligible to apply. As an Acorda Scientific Excellence Award winner, you will receive a plaque for you and another one for your school. You will also have the chance to explain your research on a thirty minute radio show broadcast called “The Acorda Scientific Excellence Award” hosted by Lisa Wexler. The show will be pre-recorded during the school week. The show will be aired Saturday mornings on AM 1490 WGCH.
